Is it permissible to take medicine that has an impure substance (najasa) in it, such as alcohol or ingredients derived from animals not slaughtered properly?
Answer
All praise is for Allah and there is no tawfiq or good except by Him. It is permissible to take medicine that has impurities in it, such as alcohol or ingredients derived from animals that are impermissible to eat, as long as there are no pure alternatives available. Allah knows best what is correct.
